MBG’s focus has always been on the long term. Over the past 35 years MBG Company has partnered with some of the most respected local names in the industry such as Security Properties, Murray Franklyn Group of Companies, Polygon, and national companies including Liberty Mutual Insurance and Diversified Holdings Corporation.

In addition to market risks and financing challenges, other constraints such as community activism, environmental pollution, challenging soil conditions, and zoning constraints require expertise, experience and tenacity.  Time and again MBG Co. has met these challenges.

OUR EXPERIENCE

We understand the development business from the inside out. We successfully owned a general contracting company and so know how to control costs and ensure a quality outcome. We successfully owned a property management company and so know how to control expenses and maximize revenues. We successfully owned a market-maker brokerage/advisory company and set the standard for systematizing research that formed the backbone of the transaction process, which is commonplace today. Building on this knowledge and expertise has enabled us to generate consistently superior returns not often seen in this marketplace. We have successfully been building multifamily projects for the past 35 years.

FOCUS – WHERE WE INVEST

Our focus is Kitsap County, which has 236 miles of shoreline and includes many spectacular development sites. The advent of the passenger only ferry system (2017) opened up the western side of Puget Sound. This westward movement has brought a deluge of residents and commerce. People have chosen to move there on account of its affordability, easy commutes, and attractive lifestyle. The Seattle MSA can only expand to the west. For decades, we have been active in this market long enough to know the prime development sites. We have been in this community so long, we know all the neighborhoods, all the regulatory bodies, and recognize opportunities when we see them. This marketplace is in its infancy and will only expand significantly from where it is today.
